Paceman back in fast lane for England

OLLY STONE is ready to rock and roll again at Lord's having left the "dark times" behind him.

Five years after his England Test bow against Ireland, the fast bowler hopes to have the Sri Lankan batters jumping around at the crease.

Although the Nottinghamshire speedster concedes he may struggle to hit the same lightning pace as Mark Wood, who he is replacing in the second Test, he still believes he can be a big hit in what he describes as "a second debut".

Stone, clocked at close to 94mph in the past, wants to prove that he can be a useful weapon, despite a long injury history that forced him to have two screws inserted in his spine.
