Man dead and teen injured
AN Afghan national arrested over a triple stabbing in west London was granted asylum after arriving in the back of a lorry, the Daily Express understands.
The suspect, 22, was Tasered by police and detained on suspicion of murder and attempted murder following the attack in Midhurst Gardens, Uxbridge, on Monday.
One victim was knifed to death and two others were injured, including a child aged 14.
The man alleged to be behind the attack arrived in the UK as an "unaccompanied asylum-seeking child" in 2020 and was granted leave to remain in 2022, it is understood.
Officials confirmed that he does not live in an asylum hotel or any other form of Home Office accommodation.
