RISHI Sunak has spoken of feeling "hurt and angry" at his daughters having to hear a Reform activist's racist slur about him.

A visibly furious Prime Minister said he hated repeating the vile remarks but added that as a father of two it was important for him to challenge "corrosive and divisive behaviour".

He attacked Reform UK's leader Nigel Farage over the conduct of some of its campaigners in Clacton, Essex where he is standing - who were recorded making racist and homophobic comments.

Mr Sunak, the first British-Asian PM, said Mr Farage had "questions to answer" over the insults, which have plunged Reform's election campaign into chaos.

Reform activist Andrew Parker, who is being investigated by police, was secretly recorded by Channel 4 News in Essex making the "f****** P***" remark.

He also suggested that migrants should be shot by soldiers as they arrive on UK beaches, and called for Muslims to be ejected from mosques so that their places of worship can be converted into Wetherspoon pubs.

Further Channel 4 footage showed other Reform campaigners in the resort where Mr Farage is hoping to be elected as MP calling LGBT people "degenerate".

The filmed activists also said that they would turn the police into "paramilitaries" and would bring back the "noose".

On a campaign visit to a school on Teesside, the Prime Minister told broadcasters: "My two daughters have to see and hear Reform people who campaign for Nigel Farage calling me an 'effing P****

"It hurts and it makes me angry, and I think he has some questions to answer. I don't repeat those words lightly. I do so deliberately, because this is too important not to call out clearly for what it is."
