OUR top doctor has urged cancer patients not to be fooled by "fairy tales" about quack cures amid a boom in online misinformation.
Medics gathered in Chicago said patients were turning down treatment and in some cases dying after pursuing alternative therapies.
Common myths circulating online include that juicing, a low-carb diet, mushroom supplements or even positive thinking can cure cancer.
