OUT! Bad day for the Brits at Wimbledon

IT was a crushing day for the home fans at Wimbledon yesterday, with all three British hopefuls left in the men's draw defeated.

Sir Andy Murray crashed out after losing a nail-biting fifth set to Greek star Stefanos Tsitsipas.

The defeat, on the 10th anniversary of his landmark Wimbledon victory in 2013, could be the tennis legend's last ever appearance at the tournament.

Sir Andy, 36, put in a vintage display against the fifth seed before going down 7-6 6-7 4-6 7-6 6-4 on Centre Court, watched by wife Kim and mother Judy.

Asked if he planned to return next year, he said: "I don't know. Motivation is obviously a big thing. It's similar to last year I guess.
