Kate steals the limelight in teal

THE Princess of Wales was lady bluegreen sleeves last night in a dramatic teal gown with sweeping arm pieces at the Royal Variety Performance.

The annual event is a chance for the stars to impress the monarchy but it was Kate who stole the show in her floor-length creation.

Prince William and Kate were joined by the Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden and Prince Daniel, who are on an official visit to the UK.

Excited crowds gathered outside the Royal Albert Hall in central London and peered through the windows as the royals arrived.

William and Kate, both 41, were introduced to the world's oldest supermodel Daphne Selfe, 95.
