Joy in creature comforts

HERE are certain kinds of people you just know you'll never get on with.

For me, it’s people who don’t like dogs, people in cafes who say “can I get a coffee?” (I think what they mean is can they “have” one, because we're not living in an episode of Friends, are we?) and people who don’t like ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL, series six of which starts tonight (5, 9pm).

Bafflingly, the latter do exist. I've met some.

Honestly, how can anyone in their right mind not like All Creatures Great And Small?
