HOWE HUNTING TO MAKE TOON TRAVEL SWEET

EDDIE HOWE has ordered his players to “stand up and be counted” as Newcastle look to cure their travel sickness at Burnley.

The Toon have won just once away from St James’ Park in the Premier League this season, denting hopes of European qualification.

But head coach Howe has welcomed the tough trip to Turf Moor tonight.

“Every away game is a positive for us, because we need to turn our away form around,” he said. “Our general performances on the road have been improving, and we need to keep that momentum going.
