Eddie's boys boost Euro bid with Murphy double

Eddie Howe's men went goal crazy as sorry Leicester sank closer to the drop following another desperate showing.

Newcastle had the game in the bag after 11 minutes thanks to two Jacob Murphy strikes.

And Harvey Barnes then scored against his former club as the Toon enhanced their Champions League ambitions.

Newcastle are now up to fifth, with a game in hand on fourth-place Chelsea as they continue the buzz created by their Carabao Cup triumph.

But Leicester could be down as early as Easter.
