Police search for suspects after stabbing

THE Thohoyandou Police are still searching for suspects after a 22-yearold man was fatally stabbed in the early hours of September 6. The victim later died at Makwarela Clinic around 04:00.

Vhembe police spokesperson WO Vuledzani Dathi said police were alerted by their commander to a case involving a male victim brought to the clinic, who was later pronounced dead. Upon arrival at the scene, officers were met by the sister-incharge, Melissa Kunu, who showed them the body of a man lying on a stretcher with a visible stab wound to the chest.

The deceased was identified as Ikel Ntlemo (22), originally from Ha-Magidi, now known as Thohoyandou unit E. His brother, Phanuel Maluleke, was present at the clinic with other family members. The family is originally from Zimbabwe.
