Makhado Municipality shows support for GBV victims, fights abuse

WOMEN and men held up placards with messages such as 'Protect women and children', 'Do not abuse us', and 'Stop raping women and children' during the 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children event held at the Ha-Mutsha community hall on Saturday.
The event was hosted by Makhado Municipality.
Several government departments including the police, Sassa, Social Development and the Department of Justice and Constitutional Development played a role as partners in supporting victims and fighting abuse.
