FIVE people were killed and 15 injured when a bus overturned on the N1 outside Louis Trichardt on Friday.

The crash involved two trucks, one sedan, one bakkie and a 22-seater bus, leading to the closure of the road for several hours as emergency personnel worked to rescue passengers trapped in the wreckage.
