BIRMINGHAM Botanical Gardens enjoyed record-breaking visitor numbers over the Bank Holiday weekend after introducing new food and drink options.

Medicine, a beloved bakery with venues across the region including on New Street and in the Mailbox, opened its new Birmingham Botanical Gardens branch for the first time over the weekend, serving its signature bakes and coffee in the grade II-listed landscape.
