Obsessive man sent to jail after tormenting exes

AN 'obsessive' ex-boyfriend who even managed to barrage his former partner with phone calls from prison has been jailed.
Hareece Ali was serving a prison sentence for burglary but still managed to harass his victim using an illegal phone, Birmingham Crown Court heard.
Following his release in June 2021, Ali's campaign of fear continued, as he cut a clump of the woman's hair, bombarded her with more than 1,000 messages in a week and threatened to throw acid in her face.
The 27-year-old was then violent to his next girlfriend, punching her and warning he would bury her on the beach.
Ali, of Bendall Road, Kingstanding, admitted two counts of harassment and three offences of assault and was jailed for five years and six months.
