Company fined over accident which broke teenager's arm

AN 18-year-old broke his arm after it became entangled in a machine at a Midlands factory.
Isoma Limited, a conveyor systems manufacturer based in Swadlincote, has now been fined £16,000 over the incident.
The worker's arm was caught in a rotating lathe as he was deburring it with an emery cloth, without using a protective appliance. The accident happened on December 1, 2023, at the firm's factory on the George Holmes Business Park.
