Former miss hits out at education chiefs for 'Victorian values'over OnlyFans account

A North Lanarkshire teacher who was sacked for selling X-rated photos on OnlyFans has been struck off.

Kirsty Buchan, 34, of Coatbridge, left her role at Bannerman High School in Glasgow when her explicit sideline was revealed. Pupils had got wind of the full-frontal content and some parents were furious.

The physics teacher claimed she only started to post images to make money amid a pay row. In an interview with the Record in 2022 she later claimed to have made £60,000 in just one month by sharing photos of herself on the adult site.

Glasgow City Council launched a probe into Buchan and referred the case to the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS).

The mum-of-one's case went before a disciplinary panel where she faced three allegations against her.
