Schoolkids show off ideas at enterprise awards

The position of company director carries significant responsibilities and must be taken seriously

Pupils from schools across North Lanarkshire showcased their ideas at the 2025 Social Enterprise Academy Scotland Awards.

The youngsters, including representatives from St Augustine’s Primary in Coatbridge and Glenmavis' New Monkland Primary, presented projects that address local issues, such as mental health, food poverty and environmental sustainability.

Thanks to the support of the Edinburgh International Conference Centre and Scottish Government, the event was accessible to youths from all across Scotland.
