IMMANUEL ward's councillor Josh Allen has been installed as the The Mayor of Hyndburn for 2025/26.
The 31-year-old Senior Architectural Technologist has represented the Oswaldtwistle seat for seven years.
Coun Allen was given the honour at Hyndburn Council’s annual meeting last Thursday night.
He is a former chair of the authority's Special Scrutiny Committee.
His Mayoresses will be his wife Robyn Bradshaw-Allen and family friend Sheena Tyldesley.
