Marta's fiery return 'I'M DRAWN TO COMPLICATED WOMEN'

BAY OF FIRES STAR AND CREATOR DISHES ON SEASON 2

After its incredibly well-received first season two years ago, Tasmanian-set comedy drama, Bay of Fires, has made an explosive return to our screens. To say that the show’s producer and star, Marta Dusseldorp, is excited about her “baby’s” second outing is quite the understatement. “When you create something you make it for an audience first and foremost – and you fervently hope people will love it,” Marta, 52, tells New Idea over the phone from her home in Hobart.

“That people came to the first season, ate it up and loved it just gave me so much fuel to get stuck into this second season. “I hope the fans love it as much as I do.”

Marta says viewers should “expect the unexpected” for her character Stella, a reluctant crime boss and mum of two, and her fellow witness protection residents in the remote Mystery Bay.
