The action picks up with US Navy SEAL Trevante Cole (Shamier Anderson) and psychic teen Caspar Morrow (Billy Barratt) embarking on a mission to destroy the alien mother ship, which crashes to Earth in the opening episode, killing the pair, who are hailed as martyrs when the drama cuts to two years later.
