The unsuspecting residents of a Pennsylvania town get an almighty shock in the opening episode of new horror drama Day of the Dead.

Inspired by George A Romero’s classic 1986 movie of the same name, the 10-part series – which starts with a double bill – takes place in the fictional small town of Mawinhaken over the course of a single day as it follows six people trying to survive a zombie attack.
