India's fintech sector has outgrown its emerging' label.

Today, it forms the backbone of the country's digital economy, powering seamless payments, expanding access to credit, transforming wealth management and building critical infrastructure that touches everyone from urban professionals to rural entrepreneurs.

According to a May 2025 report by Research and Markets, the Indian fintech market is projected to reach $155.67 billion this year and is expected to grow to $990.45 billion by 2032, at a CAGR of over 30 per cent. This scale of expansion underscores why recognition of innovation, governance and impact is now central to the sector.
