BYD will spread its wings by selling new Seagull in Europe

BYD will bring its value Seagull supermini to Europe and the UK, Auto Express can reveal, after the Chinese brand's executive VP, Stella Li, confirmed the plan in Beijing.
Introducing its most affordable electric car to Europe is seen as a key step by BYD, which has ambitious plans to achieve at least 10 per cent market share in the region by 2030. It will give the company a rival for the next wave of affordable EVs, led by the Dacia Spring, but also including the Citroen e-C3 and Volkswagen ID.2.
