If you go down to the woods today, you'll find toadstools

As autumn begins and there's the chance of wet conditions with lingering mild weather, it's prime time for toadstools and mushrooms. But which is which and does it matter? According to the Royal Horticultural Society, there is “no standard definition for a toadstool, and no clear distinction between toadstools and mushrooms. Both terms refer to the fruiting bodies produced by fungi.”
