Centre okays renaming of UP's Jalalabad as Parshurampuri

The union government has informed the Uttar Pradesh government that it has 'no objection' to renaming the Jalalabad town as 'Parshurampuri' in Shahjahanpur district.
In a letter to the state chief secretary, the Ministry of Home Affairs has given its no objection on the proposal by the state government sent on 27 June
