Business partner pays tribute to biker killed in collision

TRIBUTES have been paid to former road racer Ben Wylie who died in a motorbike crash.

The 42-year-old dad, above, was well-known across Stoke-on-Trent after he set up Moto Hub in Etruria.

But his life was cut tragically short when he was involved in a collision with a van in Audlem.

Ben had competed in the British Supersport Championship in 2006 and made his debut at the Isle of Man TT in 2009 when he claimed the top newcomer award.

He went on to co-found Moto-Hub UK - a specialist and sportsbike showroom and workshop - with fellow TT racer Sam West in 2021. The business will be shut until September following the tragedy.
