Moore: We got what we deserved on road
The Sentinel
|September 02, 2025
DARREN Moore admitted he is beginning to sound like “a broken record” this season after watching the 1-0 defeat at Reading.
‘The club’s fourth defeat in six matches - with no wins - is the worst start to a league campaign since 1967.
Moore looked completely deflated by the result and he has said that individuals will be placed for not doing their jobs properly.
“Tt was a disappointing performance and a disappointing result,’ he told Port Vale TV.
“So we got what we justly deserved which was nothing.
“T said to the lads from my learning perspective just looking at the group, they just weren't able to recover from the heroics of midweek. It was the same group of players. The exact same group of players just couldn’t get to the levels expected.
