The spirit of community radiates at the first leg of NakakaLocal Year 4 Bazaar

PhilStar Media Group's (PMG) NakakaLocal, in partnership with Ortigas Malls, marked the fruitful start of its fourth year at GH Mall with the NakakaLocal Bazaar that ran from August 15 to 17, 2025.

PMG and Ortigas Malls executives, alongside government figures, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony: Lucien Dy Tioco, executive vice-president of PMG; Jay Sarmiento, vice-president of sales and marketing of PMG; Catherine Agustin, OIC regional director of Department of Tourism, National Capital Region (NCR); Jay Acar, acting regional director of Department of Trade and Industry, NCR; Architect Renee Bacani, vice-president and head of Ortigas Malls; James Candelaria, AVP - head of Mall Operations of Ortigas Malls; Monique Castañeda, AVP and head of Marketing of Ortigas Malls; and Cathy Duenas, AVP - head of Leasing of Ortigas Malls.

Dy Tioco opened the program by delivering a speech in Filipino, in line with the celebration of the National Language Month every August.

"Sa temang 'Come Together,' naniniwala tayo sa kapangyarihan ng pagkakaisa—na kapag nagsama-sama ang puso at gawa ng bawat Pilipino, mas mapalalakas natin ang ating ekonomiya at mapalalago ang ating mga lokal na produkto," Dy Tioco said.
