A 'miracle molecule' derived from fish is revolutionising the world of skincare
If you're into your skincare, it's likely you've heard of PDRN - polydeoxyribonucleotide.
It first gained widespread traction in South Korea, where it is celebrated for its remarkable regenerative and skin-repairing properties. Since then, this so-called miracle molecule has developed into one of the world's fastest-growing treatment and product categories, with fans including Jennifer Aniston, Kim Kardashian and Hailey Bieber singing its praises.
Facial aesthetician Keren Bartov says PDRN is now her most-requested treatment at her Notting Hill clinic. "People are moving away from the overfilled look," agrees Dr Jennifer Owens, of the Glow Clinic. "Instead they're seeking treatments that regenerate and enhance skin healthones that feel more natural and restorative. The idea of something derived from DNA fragments can seem especially appealing within that context."Cette histoire est tirée de l'édition November 13, 2025 de The London Standard.

Labour plotters could 'try to oust Starmer after the Budget'
“Letting it be known that the Prime Minister would fight any challenge to his leadership rather than going quietly may well have been designed to shore up Sir Keir Starmer’s position, by reminding Labour MPs of the costs — political and economic — of opening up that can of worms,\" writes Henry Zeffman.
