Consultancy acquisition 'an exciting milestone'

A LONG-ESTABLISHED building consultancy headquartered in Newcastle has been acquired by a national firm.
Summers-Inman, which is based at Great Park and has a network of eight regional officers, has been acquired by Bellrock, a £200m turnover business backed by investment firm Sun European Partners. The company employs 130 people working in sectors such as industrials, residential, health, education and utilities, with clients including McDonalds and Philips.
The company said the acquisition would mark "a significant step forward for Summers-Inman, enhancing our capabilities and creating new opportunities for our clients". It said joining Bellrock would allow it to offer new services to its clients.
