Sundial area and loos are closed off

OUT OF BOUNDS UNTIL SPRING AS PART OF ARMADA WAY REVAMP

PLYMOUTH city centre's primary public toilets have been closed off until the spring to allow the final phase of the Armada Way regeneration to take place.

The Armada Way loos and the Sundial will be out of bounds while huge pipes are laid to take pressure off the ageing sewer system, as part of a sustainable urban drainage system - a key element of the £30 million project to revitalise the city’s main thoroughfare.

Temporary closure of the toilets will also enable the contractors to install filtration and control systems for the Armada Way water features within an unused storage room at the rear of the underground toilets.
