A WEEK on from Tavistock’s dramatic penalty-shoot-out win over Larkhall Athletic in the FA Trophy, the two sides meet again this weekend in Southern League Division One South.

- By STUART JAMES stuart.james@reachplc.com

A late equaliser from Rhys Lindsell ensured last week’s first qualifying round tie was drawn and the Lambs then held their nerve to win an epic shootout 6-5 at Langsford Park, which set up a second qualifying round clash at AFC Portchester.

Tomorrow, it is the need for points that will be on Tavi’s mind as they look to kick on and build on the three they have so far courtesy of a narrow home win over Falmouth Town.

After a year on the sidelines, defender Ben Cross - one of the more experienced Lambs in the squad at the age of 28 - is back available and made his first start since preseason 2024 in the draw with Larkhall.
