GANG BOUND, BEAT AND DUMPED TEEN

A KIDNAP gang who bound, beat and dumped a teenager on Ormesby Bank have been jailed for a combined 42 years and 11 months.
Jack Carlsson, 22, Lewis and Shaun Thompson, 26 and 30, Michael Townsend and Jamie Lawrence chased a teenager across The Greenway in Thorntree in a van.
Wearing balaclavas and combat gear, they carried out a plan they'd hatched to kidnap the terrified teenage boy and beat him up - after a dispute over drugs.
The victim was so traumatised that even when he managed to escape, after the gang’s white van broke down, he climbed up onto a garage roof - unable to even trust the police to keep him safe.
Some of the gang bought the combat kit and ski masks from the SAS shop on Skippers Lane in Middlesbrough, ahead of the kidnapping on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
The gang travelled in a white transit van to Thorntree - where they spotted their target cycling along.
