Fluorescence moves into spotlight for York

FLUORESCENCE shone brightly at Redcar on Saturday and now has a date at the big York Ebor Festival later this month.

Ed Bethell’s classy three-year-old filly won impressively at Redcar back in May and, following decent placed efforts at Ripon and Southwell, she returned to the seaside track to cosily land the Every Race Live On Racing TV Handicap in the confident hands of Oisin Orr.

The Middleham trainer revealed that the Twilight son filly is now bound for a fillies-only handicap at the York Ebor Festival, adding: “This race was to bring her forward for York. She’s a fast and talented filly.”
