Prime Minister Narendra Modi has inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for a series of developmental projects worth over Rs 13,500 crore in the state of Telangana. These projects span various crucial sectors, including transportation, petroleum and natural gas, higher education, and railways. This announcement comes ahead of the state’s upcoming elections, underscoring the government’s commitment to boosting infrastructure and development in the region.

One significant milestone achieved during this program was the flagging off of the Hyderabad (Kacheguda) – Raichur – Hyderabad (Kacheguda) train service from the Krishna station via video conferencing. This new rail service connects Hyderabad, Rangareddy, Mahabubnagar, and Narayanpet districts in Telangana with Raichur district in Karnataka. This rail link provides first-time connectivity to several underprivileged areas in Mahabubnagar and Narayanpet, benefiting students, daily commuters, laborers, and the local handloom industry.
