Global athletics gets high-tech boost, Tata Communications signs 5-year deal

This strategic partnership aims to bolster the reach and engagement of athletics worldwide, aligning with World Athletics’ mission to promote the sport through innovative and impactful initiatives, particularly in India.

Starting in 2025, Tata Communications will serve as a pivotal partner for World Athletics, bringing state-of-the-art broadcasting services to various key events throughout the year. These events include the World Athletics Indoor Championships in Nanjing in March, the World Athletics Relays in Guangzhou in May, and the World Athletics Road Running Championships in San Diego in September, culminating with the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo from September 13-21.
