EVR MOTORS TO SET UP MANUFACTURING IN INDIA

Israel-based innovator EVR Motors, specialising in high power-density electric motors, has inaugurated its new greenfield plant in Manesar, Haryana, under its subsidiary, IEVR Motors Private.

This is a significant move to the first manufacturing operation in India for an Israeli automotive firm and will play a pivotal role in EVR’s global production strategy.

The state-of-the-art plant in Manesar will produce trapezoidal geometry coils, a patented key component of EVR’s revolutionary trapezoidal stator radial flux permanent magnet (RFPM) motor technology. These coils are essential for EVR’s electric motors, known for being smaller, lighter, and more cost-effective while maintaining the flexibility to meet diverse customer needs. This highly automated facility is initially designed to supply coils for approximately 20,000 motors per month, with plans to rapidly expand to around 100,000 motors to meet the increasing global demand for electric vehicles.
