Hollywood idol pining to return to Scotland for superhero shots

HOLLYWOOD star Chris Hemsworth has told of his love of the Highlands and said the area is perfect for battle scenes.

The Thor actor has been so enthralled filming here for Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame that he can't wait to come back.

Hemsworth returns as Thor in the latest hit movie of the Marvel franchise Avengers: Doomsday.

Doomsday production kicked off in March with filming this time taking place in Windsor Great Park, adjacent to Windsor Castle and Buckinghamshire's Pinewood Studios.

However, Aussie Hemsworth, 41, says he wants to return to the Highlands, where the dramatic landscape is the perfect backdrop for film skirmishes.

He said: "Filming The Avengers in Scotland was a really cool experience. It doesn't look like we are coming back for Doomsday.
