Why not extend probe to cover Scotland too?

THE days of denial about the monstrosity of the grooming gangs outrages must end. Kemi Badenoch was right to brand it “one of the biggest scandals Britain has ever seen”.

The horror of the abuse inflicted on women and girls is coupled with anger at the obscene failure of people in positions of power to take action.

Those who had the opportunity to help stop the horrors unfolding in communities across the UK must explain why they did not act. The cover-ups must end.
