Former first minister crowned ‘laziest MSP'
NICOLA STURGEON has been told to start representing her constituents after she missed Holyrood to fly on “lavish” trips abroad to punt her book and lecture on education.
The former first minister was crowned Scotland’s “laziest” MSP due to her lack of contributions at the Scottish Parliament in 2025.
And now, according to her registers of interest, she failed to show up for work for a whole week in November as she was in Iceland to flog her autobiography, titled Frankly.
She also missed another few days in December due to flying to another Scandinavian country, Denmark, to speak at a teaching conference.
Both of these trips were paid for by private suitors, with the former First Minister eyeing up a career in public speaking after leaving politics.
It is a far cry from her hopes of a job in the United Nations which she was linked with repeatedly while in office.
