Spring is good for mood – and food!

THE changing season puts a spring in our step as we look forward to reconnecting with nature, long walks and hosting friends for meals, a survey found.

Some 86% of Britons say spring boosts their mood, 37% find it awakens their senses and one in four feel more adventurous as the weather improves and they go outside.

It is also prime time for entertaining, and 29% say it is their favourite time of year.

Top springtime activities include eating with loved ones, enjoying picnics and barbecues, and making the most of the chance to savour meals al fresco.
