Put your bedroom skills to the ultimate test with a men's sexual health MoT

It's natural for men’s sex lives to go off the boil now and again, becoming more mechanical than incredible. It might be that work, life and Netflix get in the way, but there are things you can do to supercharge your performance in the bedroom, making it dramatically more pleasurable for both parties. Pelvic health physiotherapist Nathan Scott is the clinical director of Men’s MOT, an initiative to make men’s healthcare accessible, proactive and stigma-free.

He’s a highly experienced pelvic health physiotherapist, who's spent more than a decade helping men improve their bladder, bowel, and sexual health.

And Nathan says good sleep, regular exercise and mastering breathing techniques can all boost your sex life - as can talking about sex before actually having it.

Here he outlines eight key things that can make men better in bed,

Pushing, pulling, lifting and moving your body aren't just about looking good or hitting gym goals - they're about safeguarding your health and sexual vitality for decades to come. Exercise is one of the most powerful tools you have to maintain strong erections, high energy, and long-term performance.

Resistance training - lifting heavy things - stimulates testosterone production, builds lean muscle, and improves insulin sensitivity. All of these are essential for maintaining libido and erectile health as you age.

Aerobic exercise, on the other hand, whether running, cycling, swimming or even fast-paced walking, keeps blood vessels supple, lowers blood pressure and reduces the risk of cardiovascular disease. Since erectile function relies on the same vascular system that feeds your heart and brain, exercise acts like insurance for your sex life.

Every time that you brisk walk, you're training your future ability to enjoy intimacy

IT'S A FAMILY AFFAIR

A little goes a very long way in the third chapter of director James Cameron's blockbusting franchise. Avatar: Fire And Ash is a masterclass in candyfloss storytelling, expertly fluffing around an hour of linear plot and character development into more than three hours of jaw-dropping visual spectacle that continues to push the envelope for performance capture technology.
