It's a quest for perfection that drives Bhoys on

CALLUM McGREGOR, barring some unforeseen disaster, will get his hands on the Premiership trophy at Tannadice tomorrow to complete phase two of OperationTreble. Again.
It’s getting to the stage now that some Celtic supporters expect their favourites to deliver aTreble every season.
After all, that’s very nearly No.9 ticked off — with five of those collected since Brendan Rodgers first arrived in the east end of Glasgow nine years ago.
So, with the League Cup safely in the bag anda title party beckoning in Dundee before the chance to round things off with a Scottish Cup final against Aberdeen on May 24, expectation levels are, once again, sky high.
Talismanic captain McGregor acknowledges that, in some fans’ eyes, anything less than a domestic clean sweep will be viewed as a major disappointment, if not borderline failure.
In that regard, he knows he’s playing at a magical, if not surreal, time in the club’s history.
He reckons some punters have lost sight of how hard it is to dominate the domestic scene, but claims continually striving for perfection brings the best out of him and his team-mates.
“I think it’s because there have been so many trebles in a short period of time,” said the 31-year-old. “I think people have become de-sensitised to how difficult it is.
