The 31-year-old confessed: “I could have done better in the buildup to the goal; it was a disappointing one.
“We wouldn’t have got Europe even if we’d won so, looking back, it didn’t make too much of a difference.
“But it would have been nice to win there and go out on a high on the last day of the season.
“We got a draw and, on the day, probably deserved to win.
