VVD hails Dutch pal Ryan as star finds his feet at Anfield

VIRGIL VAN DIJK has told Liverpool teammate Ryan Gravenberch to regard pressure as a privilege and enjoy becoming a new darling of the Kop.

Gravenberch has taken time to establish himself following a £34million move from Bayern Munich in 2023, with no goals in his first 49 games.

But with two in six matches this term, including a sublime finish past Jordan Pickford to help Reds win a feisty derby with Everton, he's now making an impact at Anfield.

Gravenberch is earning rave reviews and Liverpool captain Van Dijk has urged his compatriot to relish the challenge of staying on top of his game.

Van Dijk said: "He's unbelievable and is very important to the way we play.
