Sutton seeks clarity on Celtic future

CHRIS SUTTON has called on Brendan Rodgers to clarify his Celtic future amid the civil war that's engulfed the club.

Supporters groups have united to pile pressure on the board with a call for a Europa League boycott and a series of protests on the back of a blundering transfer window and a disastrous 1000-word blame game statement last weekend.

Rodgers' long-term position is also uncertain with the 52-year-old Irishman out of contract at the end of the season and Celtic failing to refute reports he was trying to engineer his exit.

The manager is set to address media today ahead of Sunday's Premiership clash with Kilmarnock and former Hoops striker Sutton said: "I think Rodgers will simply now have to come out and tell everyone if he's going to be staying or going.
