Paisley Pirates enjoyed a perfect four-point weekend with back-to-back victories over North Ayrshire Wild and Solway Sharks.

The team continued their strong run of formas the Scottish National League season approaches its conclusion.

Pirates opened in style on Saturday night with an 8-3 victory over Wild.

Marcus Murdoch and Craig Peacock bagged braces with Marty Simpson, Bari McKenzie, Jamie Crawford and Magnus Wrottesley also on target in commanding team performance.

The evening also marked a hugely emotional moment for the club as Fraser Kerr returned tothe lineup afteralong spell out witha serious injury that required surgery.

There were doubts earlier in the season about whether he would return atall.

Kerr was named man-of-the-match, capping a remarkable comeback, and received a warm reception from teammates and supporters alike.
