EVIDENCE OF DEALING WAS FOUND ON PHONE

- By MARTIN NAYLOR

A WEST Bridgford grandmother and a 49-year-old Bingham woman are two of three people convicted for being part of an 1l-strong gang which dealt wholesale quantities of drugs on the city’s streets.

After a trial lasting weeks at Nottingham Crown Court, a jury took a matter of days to find Angela Price, Milee Munroe and co-conspirator Shiero Marquis guilty of the charges they had denied.

Price, 60, was the eldest of three generations of a family involved in the gang. She received large quantities of drugs at her Greythorn Drive home

Her 37-year-old daughter, Hayley Price, of Costock Avenue, Sherwood, revelled in being a drug dealer but was so ill-disciplined that she made screenshots of incriminating messages from her phone but forgot to delete them. She previously pleaded guilty to her involvement.

And Price's granddaughter, Kaci-Leigh Stones, 20, of Gardendale Avenue, Clifton, also previously admitted her involvement.

Prosecutor Jonathan Cox said: “The prosecution say they were involved in the illegal supply of large quantities of drugs.

“Each of them took part in supplying illegal drugs and in doing so they joined a criminal business.

“Those towards the top of the business expected to make significant profits - large amounts of money. For many that provided a powerful incentive for them to get involved.”
