NOTTINGHAM Forest registered back-to-back League wins away against Liverpool for the first time since 1963 as they triumphed 3-0 at Anfield.

After last season’s success on Merseyside under Nuno Espirito Santo, Sean Dyche oversaw the same feat.

Goals from Murillo, Nicolo Savona and Morgan Gibbs-White clinched the three points for the visitors as they registered successive Premier League victories.

With injuries limiting his options, Dyche stuck with the same starting XI that had toppled Leeds United prior to the international break. The Reds were aiming to pick up from where they had left off after claiming their first League win under the new head coach.

They made a positive start on Merseyside but it wasn’t long before the hosts began to exert some control.

It took a big block from Elliot Anderson to keep out Alexis Mac Allister with less than 10 minutes gone and that wasn’t the only scare Forest survived in the first half hour.

They did have a few promising moments at the other end of the pitch, though.

Ibrahim Sangare felt he should have had a penalty from a challenge by Mac Allister while Murillo had a low drive saved by Alisson.

And then the breakthrough came. Liverpool failed to deal with an Anderson corner and the ball fell for Murillo to rifle it home in the 33rd minute.
