MACC Thirds travelled to Trafford Metrovics and bowled first after skipper Miles Horner won the toss.
The decision to field first looked a good one as Chris Moores bowled Warner with the last ball of the first over to make it 2-1. Macc were frustrated for a while after that as Nagaraju and Muttana put on a half-century stand at a decent rate.
Metrovics were pegged back though as firstly Moores bowled Nagarju for 24 then, in the following over, Bruno Smith-Lomas bowled Muttana for 34 to make it 66-3.
Soon after, Moores took his third wicket (ending with 3-42), as Reddy was well caught by a diving Alex Cresswell.
Bowling changes were made and the spin of Tony Moores was introduced.
He took the wicket of Khayyam thanks to a second catch by Cresswell and Metrovics were in a little trouble at 81-5.
